The tour: 

Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley (170 km - 4 h)
Your tour -guide and driver will meet you in the airport and after that they will pick up you and accompany to Bishkek -the capital of Kyrgyzstan after arrival in Bishkek you will be served breakfast in Dungan (Chinese Muslims) guesthouse. If you arrive too early we offer you a nice room with comfortable beds and you will be able to take a shower. This day you will spend walking around our capital. Lunch is included. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National philharmonic, eastern  Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. After transfer to Chon Kemin valley, on the way visiting the Burana Museum, a site of a medieval city of Balasagun, the capital of the Karahanid Kaganate, a Turkic dynasty of the 11 century.  Dinner and rooms will be ordered in Ashu guesthouse in Chon kemin valley. 

Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga (150 km - 4 h)
After breakfast you pack your baggage and you continue your way further. Before our departure to Tamga village, we will stop not far from Chon-Kemin in order to walk 3 hours in Konorchek labyrinths, where at the end of the gorge you will watch you a magic view where of red mountains. Then we will have a picnic there. After that we continue our tour to Tamga village that is situated on the southern shore of Issik Kul lake, the second largest mountain lake in the world and the biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan. There is a sanatorium in Tamga where soviet astronauts rehabilitated and trained their skills. The altitude and climate ideally fitted them. On the way to Tamga we will visit famous hunter with golden eagles Talgat. He will tell us about his birds. After it you can take pictures of the eagles. After arrival in Tamga village you will have time to swim in the lake and to relax in the beach. Check in is in Askar guesthouse. (1600 meters asl) where you also have dinner. 

Day 3: Tamga - Barskoon gorge - Dunguromo Pass (3570 m) - Dugurotmo gorge (5 hours)
After having breakfast we will go to Barskoon village, where you will visit the private family manufactory of producing yurts. Here you will find out many interesting facts about the nomadic dwellings. Then we continue our way to Barskoon gorge, one of the most picturesque places in the mountainous Terskey Ala Too. There is one of the highest waterfalls in Kyrgyzstan (2500 m asl) the height of which 60 meters. We will see the stone of astronauts, where is a sign of first man in the space - Uriy Gagarin.  From this place we start our trek. We will have an ascent to Dunguromo pass (3100 m) passing through which we find ourselves in a picturesque valley Dunguromo. After several kilometers down from the pass, we will stop to set up a cmp. Dinner will give us an opportunity to share with impressions of the first day. You will have overnight stay and dinner in tent camp at the height of 2850 meters above sea level. 

Day 4: Dungurotmo gorge - Zauka Pass (3750 m) - Chokolu Lake (7 hours)
7 a.m.is breakfast time after we have a « vertical » hike to the Chokolu Lake over Zauka Pass. It is a historical pass, the part of the great Silk Road. Famous travelers passed this place in the ancient time: Ella Mayart 1932, Semenov Tyanshyanskii 1856, the Chinese Muslims came from China two hundreds years ago.  The area is comparatively flat, among vegetation prevails fine grass and moss, the climate is close to the tundra climate. Coming closer to the lake we will set up our camp for the night. You will have overnight stay and dinner in tent camp at the altitude of 3800 m. 

 

 

Day 6: Ashu Kashka Suu gorge - Ashu Tor Pass (3490 m) - Jukuchak gorge (7 hours)
Early morning will be devoted to preparing all of our gear and then we hike up the gorge Ashu Kashka Suu. Reaching the foot of the pass, we will make a short break for having lunch and then we will have to climb to the Ashu Tor Pass (3490 m). After the pass we get into the Dzhukuchak gorge where the thermal mineral springs are. Here we are given an opportunity to take a bath with hot mineral water which we all dreamed of for now four days of our trek. After good bath our guide will offer you local beer. You will have overnight stay and dinner in tent camp at the height of 2500 m. 

Day 7: Dzhukuchak gorge - Orto Bulak Pass (2900 m) - Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge
In the morning we will go towards the Kichi Kyzyl Suu Valley. First we get the territory of Issyk Kul forestry which is located in the Dzhukuchak gorge. Further we have to go up to pass Orto Bulak (2900 meters asl). Then we come to the Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge where we set up a camp for the night. This place is famous for its incredible beauty and stunning views of mountains.  You will have overnight stay and dinner in tent camp at the altitude of 2300 meters asl. 

Day 8: Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge - Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge - Jili Suu water warm springs
7 a.m.is breakfast time after which we start our trekking in the direction of the picturesque valley - ChonKyzyl Suu. First we have to go down to the Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge through the territory of forestry. Then we will go along the Djily Suu Mountains and finally we arrive in Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge. Here we enter the area of Ak Tash. Then we will go up about three miles up to the warm mineral springs where we will again be able to take a warm bath and relax. The region is famous for its beauty: nomadic people and incredible mountains. You will have overnight stay and dinner in tent camp at the height of 2150 meters asl. 

Day 9: Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge - Kok Dzhayyk Pass (2700 meters) - Jeti Oguz gorge
7 a.m. is breakfast time.After breakfast we will go towards the Jeti Oguz gorge - one of the most popular places to visit in our country. Firstly we will go down to the place of Ak Tash, where we cross the Kyzyl Suu River (Red River). Then we begin the ascent to the pass Kok Dzhayyk. The road will pass through a small pine forest, which will impress you with its mysterious silence. It seems as if the whole world looks at you there. After the forest we will see the Jeti Oguz gorge which will impress you for sure. After a couple of kilometers we reach the yurt camp Kok Dzhayyk You will have overnight stay and dinner yurt camp at the height of 2300 meters asl. 

Day 10: Jety Oguz gorge - Karakol (30 km - 1 h)
After breakfast our journey will continue towards the capital of Issik Kul region. Check-in  will be in hotel Elita**.  Today we will visit   Prjvalsky Memorial Complex, devoted to the famous Russian explorer of Central Asia. We will visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the wooden mosque, made in the Chinese architectural style.  In the evening we drive to Dyishin village, where we will have dinner with Chinese Muslims, here they are called Dungans. They came from Dunhuang, central part of China. They are good agricultural masters and very famous for national cuisine.  We will try different salads and of course national dungan bread. After dinner is return to the hotel. 

Day 11: Karakol - Kochkor village (330 km-6 h)
We will go to the Kochkor village early in the morning, there you can know about national traditions and customs, watch the process of making traditional Kyrgyz carpets "Ala-kiyiz" and to visit a handicraft museum. Also we will see and participate in the process of assembling a yurt, a traditional felt house of nomadic people. In the evening you will listen to the Folk-concert.  On the way to Kochkor village we will drive along the north shore of Issyk Kul Lake - it means you will see the "pearl of Central Asia" form all sights! Dinner will be in a yurt and carpet-making show. 

Day 12: Kochkor - Bishkek
Transfer to Bishkek. Accommodation is in a guesthouse. Free time for shopping or walk in the capital. 

Day 13: Bishkek - Europe
Our guide will accompany you to International Manas Airport according to the time of your flight.
