Day 1: Tashkent- Nukus
You will have a transfer flight to Nukus in the morning. You will enjoy of a full day city tour in Nukus. You will begin your journey from visiting the Museum of Savitsky which shows the beautiful works of prohibited art. This museum has 20th century Russian avant-garde paintings, pictures, works of Komarovskiy, Sokolov and Amaravella group. In 1960s the conservator of the Karakalpakstan state museum of art picked the artworks. He bought up the forbidden works of pursued Soviet artists but sometimes he got it free of charge. He has carefully kept and at last has shown them in this remote central Asian art-house. Then we will go for borders of Nukus to see cemetery Mizdakhan, several centuries ago it was an ancient city. Archaeological excavations verified that this part was continuously grasped from the 4th century BC till about 14th century AD. Overnight is at the hotel.
Day 2: Nukus - Ayaz Qala - Tuprak Qala - Khiva (290 km, 6 hours)
We will transfer to Khiva today, Khiva is the most old city in Uzbekistan full of history and adventures places. This history is connected first of all with capital Urgench and indissolubly with history of the legendary Khorezmshah's State. Khiva is told as the main shopping centre on the Silk Road in the 10th century. All the caravans stopped here on their road to China and back. From dusk till dawn, until the gates were unbarred, an infinite stream of moving sequence of camels with baggage crossed them. Now we have most of this extraordinary city conserved and fostered to pass to our next generation. On the tour we will visit two popular fortresses: Turpak Qala and Ayaz Qala. Ayaz Qala is old castle of Khorezm, called on behalf of legendary soldier-slave Ayaz, a Turkic folklore legendary hero. This fortress dating back II century AD. Tuprak Qala, has a meaning ‘clay fort', was the regal city of Khorezmian leader Artav. Archeologists demand that fortress was reconstructed in 1 or 2-century AD. It resides until 6th century AD. Goes on wars and incursion discharged the city and remained it without any sign of previous life. Night will be in a hotel in the city.
Day 3: Khiva - Urgench - Tashkent
In the oldest city of Uzbekistan today you will have an interesring sightseeing tour. The tour will be inside of Ichan-Qala, the internal city in Khiva rounded with solid walls. Centuries old sound buildings, mosques, palaces, Caravan-Sarais, Mausoleums, Madrasahs, Minarets and Bathhouses changed Ichan-Qala into unique city-monument. Ichan-Qala has about 60 architectural monuments and over 400 traditional dwelling houses. In 1969 Ichan-Qala was created a historical and architectural protective place. The most important location in it are the Kunya-Ark fortress dates back to 17th century, opened by Muhammad Arang Khan, Tash Khouvli palace and Kalta Minor minaret, an unique pattern of Khorezm architectural masterpiece of 1830s. in the evening will be flight to Tashkent. Night will be in a hotel.
Day 4: Tashkent - Flight
Transfer to airport.
