Duration: 6 days
Day 1: Bishkek
After arriving at Manas international Airport, our guide will meet you and take you to Bishkek. The capital of Kyrgyzstan is located 30 km from the airport. After that, you will have a tour of the city's attractions. You will walk through the streets of Bishkek and visit the victory square, oak Park, the Ala-Too square, the National Art Museum. After that, the guide will take you to Osh Bazaar - one of the most popular places for daily shopping for local people. At the end of the evening the guide will accompany you to the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul northern shore
After Breakfast, you will meet the guide. Today you will have a trip to the largest lake in Kyrgyzstan. It is called Issyk-Kul and is translated from Kyrgyz as hot lake. The lake is located in the East of Bishkek at an altitude of 1608 meters among mountain ranges. This is the largest lake in Kyrgyzstan.The road from Bishkek takes several hours, so on the way we will visit another historical heritage of our country. We will arrange a tour of the Burana tower. It was a minaret built in the 11th century. You will be taken to your hotel at the end of the day.
Day 3: Issyk Kul lake - Karakol
your guide will be waiting for you at 8 am. Today, according to the plan, an excursion to the small city of Karakol. On the way to this city, we will visit a historical monument of ancient people. you will see petroglyphs-ancient inscriptions on stones that are more than 2000 years old. After this tour, we will continue travelling to Karakol. In the city itself, we will have an excursion to the old Orthodox Church, built of wood. As well as the Dungan mosque built without a single nail. At the end of the day you will be welcomed at the guest house.
Day 4: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Kochkor
The night is spent in a family home. In the morning, you will go to the mountain gorge, which is called Zheti Oguz, which is translated from the Kyrgyz language as Seven Bulls. It is famous among travellers. After climbing a low mountain (about 20-25 minutes), you can see the panorama of the entire gorge. This place fascinates with its beauty. The guide will tell you an interesting history of this place. After a walk in the mountains, you will go to a local village where a hunter will be waiting for you. He will tell you about the ancient hunting with birds and introduce you to their predatory birds. Show and tell how this craft is passed from generation to generation. It is a part of many cultural tours in
Kyrgyzstan. You will stay in local house.
Day 5: Kochkor - Bishkek
The last day of your tour is dedicated to local applied art. In the village of Kochkor, you will visit a small Museum and get acquainted with local felt craftswomen. They will give you a master class on making carpets from felt and wool. There you can also visit a small Museum of crafts. In the Museum you will see items made of silver and wood, which are so necessary for nomads. Then we will return to Bishkek and you will still have time for shopping. The guide will accompany you to the hotel at the end of the day.
Day 6: Flight
You will be transferred to Manas Airport.
