Far from the city lights

 

Name of the tour: Far from the city lights
Duration: 5 days

Day 1: Almaty
During the first day, you will be taken on a city tour around Almaty. You will be seeing such places as the Panfilov's Park, Eternal Flame, Memorial of glory and etc. afterwards, you will be taken to the Medeo Gorge in order to walk around the area that is known for the ski resort and an ice-rink. Towards the end of the day, you will be taken to the Kok Tobe hill, so that you may enjoy the panoramic view of the city, moreover, so that you may take a funicular ride towards the center of the city right from the top of the hill. In the evening, you will be transferred to the hotel for the night.

 

Day 2: Almaty - Tamgaly - Altyn Emel
The following morning, you will travel to the Altyn Emel national part. On your way there, you will have a stop by the Tamgaly Tas stone which has several engravings on different languages. Upon your arrival to Basshi village, you will be taken on a 3 km tour to the singing dune which is 150 meters high. In the end of the day, you will be returned back to the village for the night.

Day 3: Altyn Emel
The next morning, you will have a 2 hour drive towards the Aktau Mountains. The mountains are famous for the fact that they hold a lot of remains of animals that age around 25-30 million years. You hear many different stories from your guide about that location. In the end of the day, you will return back to the Basshi village for the night.

Day 4: Altyn Emel - Charyn - Almaty 
The following day, you will travel towards the Charyn Canyon. On your way there, you will stop by the Ash-tree grove. You will take a short walk among those wonderful trees. Then you will continue your tour towards one of the most famous locations in Kazakhstan. Upon your arrival to Charyn Canyon, you make take several pictures of the panoramic view, and then you may descend down to the bottom of the canyon in order to take a look at the charyn river which will be in 2 km walk. In the end of the day, you will be returned to Almaty city in order to spend your night in the hotel there.

Day 5: Flight
In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport.
