We would like to present you a horse riding tour that includes the visiting of Issyk Kul Lake and horse back riding in the heavenly mountains. You will ride a horse for many hours in places with wild untouched nature. You will feel complete freedom there. Kyrgyz Republic is mountainous country and there it is not easy to survive without horses. That is why the best possession for nomad was a horse.

 

Tour summary: 

Day 1: Bishkek - Karakol
You will be collected by your guide from Manas International Airport. Transfer to Bishkek City (30 min. drive). Your day will start the day with breakfast. After breakfast you will be transferred (200 km.) to the Celestial Issyk Kul Lake (1608m.above sea level), the 2nd largest mountain lake in the world. The Lake is also called "the treasure of Central Asia". On the way, we will stop to visit the Burana Tower Historical Complex and its open air museum of Balbans - stone warriors. In cholpon - Ata that is on the northern shore of Issyk - Kul Lake you will also have an opportunity to visit ancient stone carvings (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum of Issyk - Kul. 8 p.m. dinner will be in a restaurant. Also for additional price you can have a folk performance there. Overnight in a guesthouse. 

Day 2: Karakol - Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley
At 8 o'clock your breakfast will be served. We devote this morning entirely to a guided City Tour in Karakol. This city tour includes the visit of the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. This will be followed by the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. Afterward, you will visit M.V. Prejvalsky museum. M. Prjevalsky was one of greatest explores of the world. His achievements were the of the great desert of Taklamakan crossing and more than 4000 animals discovery, including the horse of Prjevalsky. This city tour will be ended with a traditional lunch. We leave Karakol at 1 p.m. and start our (70 km) adventure to the extraordinary Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley. On the way, we will visit the mineral sources of hot springs at Jeli Suu, where you will have the possibility to take a bath. You will see red mountains that are differently shaped. Afterwards, one hour horseback riding tour to the Physical and Geographical station of Chong Kyzyl Suu is waiting for you.  En route we will see genuine Kyrgyz nomads, who spend summer months on the jailoo (pastures in the mountains) and their nomadic habitations - yurts. A yurta is an original nomad's dwelling. It is made of a wooden skeleton that is covered by felt. This is a collapsible dwelling that is built without nails. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in yurts. 

Day 3: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Ashu Tor - Chong Kyzyl Suu (6h)
After a strengthening breakfast, we will leave the camp at 9 am and start our horseback riding tour to the Ashu Tor pass (2800m). After your lunch you will have an ascent on horses to an amazing mountain lake, which finds its origin in a glacier. With a bit of luck you might see mountain goats. After enjoying the view of the mountain lake we come back to the station. Dinner is served at 8 p.m. Overnight in yurts.  

Day 4: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Jumakuchak
This day, after breakfast we continue our 6 hours riding tour from the Kishi Kyzyl Suu valley to Jumakuchak via the small Pass of Jumalai, where we will have a  stop for picnic. You will have a chance to explore its virgin nature on your own. From this place it is possible to observe gorgeous surface of Issyk-Kul Lake. Traditional dinner is served at 7 p.m. Night is in tents in Jumakuchak among the nomadic yurts of Kyrgyz people.

Day 5: Jumakuchak - Kok Terek village
The day starts with a breakfast at 8 am, before you will mount your horse to take the ride from Jumakuchak to Kok Terek Village under the hoofs (6h). On the way you will come across the red cave that is called "500 rams" and a picturesque mountain waterfall. You will have your lunch at the bottom of the waterfall. The waterfall is situated not far from hot springs (40 degrees Celsius) that are also possible to visit if you wish. After having a rest we continue our way to Kok Terek village. Our dinner and overnight will be in a home stay.  

Day 6: Kok Terek - Bishkek
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock. After packing your backpacks, you will be transferred along the southern shore of the famous Issyk-Kul Lake (380 km) to Bishkek by car. You will arrive in Bishkek in a Hotel **** around at 7 p.m.  You will have time for yourself until your pick up at 8 o'clock. You will have a farewell dinner in a café. 

Day 7: Bishkek - Europe
Your guide will collect you from the hotel and transferred to the airport.
