Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake
Your will be collected from Manas International Airport by your guide. Transfer till Bishkek City takes 30 minutes. Your day there will start the day with a breakfast. Afterward you will be transferred (200 km) to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake (1608m.above sea level), that is the second largest alpine lake in the world. The Lake is also called "The Pearl of Tien - Shan Mountains". En route, we will visit the Burana Tower - minaret that dated11th century, and Balbans (stone warriors) open air museum. After having taken a traditional lunch, we will continue our trip to the Lake. After arrival in the Hotel you will have a rest on the northern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sandy beach or swim in the Lake. Issyk - Kul Lake possesses curative qualities due to the salty water. At 7 p.m. your dinner will be served.
Day 2: Issyk-Kul Lake - Karakol
8 o'clock breakfast. After that you have free time to swim in the lake till 12 p.m. After having rest, you will begin your (200 km) trip to Karakol city by car. On the way, in Cholpon - Ata we will make a short stop to visit ancient inscriptions on the stones that are dated back to 800 B.C., including the local Issik - Kul Museum. The second stop during the trip will be at 12 o'clock, where you can get pleasure from your lunch in a tranquil atmosphere, before you will be able to enjoy to the full beauty of the lake during another break, where you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat. Continuation of our way to Karakol city along the northern shore of the sparkling pearl of Central Asia. National dinner will be in a restaurant at 8 p.m. in Karakol. There, for additional price you can have a folklore performance there. Night in a Guesthouse.
Day 3: Karakol - Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley
Breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock. This morning will be entirely dedicated to Karakol City Tour. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. You will see also the wooden Orthodox Church, which construction refers to the end of the 19
th century. Soon after, you will visit the memorial complex of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explorers. Prjevalsky biggest success was the great Taklamakan desert crossing and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse that was later named after the explorer. We will end the City Tour with a traditional lunch and at 1 p.m. we will leave Karakol and start our trip (70 km) to the impressive Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley. En route, you will see spectacular views of red mountains, but before we will visit the thermal mineral springs in Jeli Suu Village, where you will have an opportunity to take a bath. Later on, it will be a horseback riding tour to the Chong Kyzyl Suu Physical and Geographical station for 1 hour. On the way we will se the yurts of the Kyrgyz nomads. A yurta is an original nomad's dwelling. It is made of a wooden skeleton that is covered by felt. This is a collapsible dwelling that is built without nails. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in yurts.
Day 4: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Ashu Tor - Chong Kyzyl Suu (6h)
After a strengthening breakfast, we will leave the camp at 9 am and start our horseback riding tour to the Ashu Tor pass (2800m). After your lunch you will have an ascent on horses to an amazing mountain lake, which finds its origin in a glacier. With a bit of luck you might see mountain goats. After enjoying the view of the mountain lake we come back to the station. Dinner is served at 8 p.m. Overnight in yurts.
Day 5: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Kishi Kyzyl Suu
After early breakfast at 7 a.m., you will star our (6h) adventure to ride to the valley of Kishi Kyzyl Suu (lunch on the way) - it is a stunning ravine that you will certainly like. At 7 p.m. we will arrive in Kishi Kyzyl Village, where you will have half an hour time to settle in your tents, after that traditional dinner will be served.
Day 6: Kishi Kyzyl Suu village - Jumakuchak
We continue our (6h) horseback riding tour after breakfast from Kishi Kyzyl Suu Valley to Jumakuchak via small Jumalai Pass. There is a gorgeous sight of the surface of Issyk-Kul Lake. There we will have a picnic. You will have a chance to explore its virgin nature on your own. At 7 p.m. traditional dinner is served. Night is in tents in Jumakuchak among yurts of the nomadic Kyrgyz people.
Day 7: Jumakuchak - Kok Terek village
We start our day with breakfast at 8 o'clock. Atherwards, you will mount your horse to take the ride to Kok Terek Village from Jumakuchak (6h). On the way, you will visit the red cave that is called "500 rams" and a pictorial mountain cascade. The waterfall is situated not far from hot springs (40 degrees Celsius) that are also possible to visit if you wish. You will have your lunch nearby cascade. We continue our way to Kok Terek village after having a rest. Our dinner and overnight will be in a guesthouse.
Day 8: Kok Terek - Bishkek
After packing your backpacks, you will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you will be transferred to Bishkek city by car along the southern shore of the famous Issyk-Kul Lake (380 km). You will arrive in Bishkek in a Hotel **** at around 8 pm, where you will have time for yourself until your pick up at 7 pm. Then you will have a farewell dinner in a restaurant.
Day 9: Bishkek - Europe
Breakfast will be served in the hotel at 8 o'clock. The part of this day will be dedicated to a guided Bishkek city tour. This tour includes the visiting of the Ala-Too Central Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the Historical Museum of Kyrgyzstan, National philharmonic, Osh Bazaar, Art Gallery and many other interesting places and monuments. You will have lunch at 2 p.m. The rest of this day is at your own disposal. Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
