Peak Lenin

The next stage of our tour in Kyrgyzstan is the investigation of Peak Lenin, located in the country's Osh region. Today, each visitor is free to become a part of the Tajikistan Border Travel. In essence, the altitude of the mountain is 7134 m. During tours in Kyrgyzstan and car rent to the region, the territory of the peak can be accessed by renting cars from Kyrgyzstan. Yet the peak of the mountain, when the clouds overtake it, cannot always be reached.

The weather here is changeable on tours, as it varies depending on the altitude in the mountains. The mountain was examined and discovered by A.P. Fedchanko, in 1871, when he was here. In the past, in honor of the governor and the Soviet leader, the name of the peak was given as Peak Kaufman. Then the name of the period's new leader became the name of the peak.

The first expedition was made in 1929 when non-members of the tour were able to get to the top of it. The vaulting was then replicated by the Soviet Red Army, whose representatives managed to vault and erect Lenin's memorial. In 1967, after these activities, an anniversary vault was made by the expedition of 301. This vaulting gave average individuals more than 16 routes to know about the life of.

The mountains can be dangerous for those who rent a car in Kyrgyzstan on their own on tours or with a professional company in the region. As the weather is always volatile, the tricks of how to be safe here need to be learned. Tragic occurrences are seen to occur in 1974, when the women's team was hit by a tornado, and in 1991 the earthquake struck the team of around 44 people.
